We only called in for a drink after a walk in Burnsall but, we received a warm welcome and sitting out enjoying the fabulous views was a real treat!
We recently had our wedding here, celebrating from Thursday through to our departure on Sunday. The layout allows for a seamless flow through the different stages of a wedding. The scenery provides a stunning backdrop, regardless of the weather. Above all, the staff are excellent, consistently going above and beyond to deliver a professional yet friendly service. We have stayed several times before the big day, and this has always been the case. I would like to thank all the departments for their excellent work during our wedding, including the behind-the-scenes staff members who ensure everything runs smoothly. Certainly worthy of note, Sam did a fantastic job managing the day. It is clear he is a great manager and team leader who works closely with his staff rather than from afar. His professionalism was noted by numerous guests who commented on his conduct throughout the day. I couldn’t be happier with the venue, their services and hospitality. A beautiful, warm, welcoming hotel where we had the pleasure of eating a delicious evening meal. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The staff were attentive and friendly. Dog and child friendly . Highly recommend.

What a lovely hotel in a great location for walking the Dales Way north and south! The hotel team - each and every one, manager, front of house, reception, bar, wait staff and housekeeping was exceptional, personable and local. It makes such a difference …. I stayed for five nights and am looking to book another walking holiday soon; plenty of 12 mile circular walks to enjoy with a great dinner and breakfast before setting off again.
Amazing location with fantastic views. We had afternoon tea which was great, all the food was really good and they kept our tea and coffee pots full throughout. The staff were all really friendly. I'd definitely recommend.
Definitely one of the best views in Yorkshire! Excellent base for tours in Wharfedale on foot, bike or by car. Phantastic dinners give each day the final twist. Hint: don't park under the big tree - the birds pay no respect to you vehicle.
Booked afternoon tea for my friends birthday after a dog walk around burnsall. Service was excellent, as was the delicious vegan afternoon tea - they catered very well to our dietary requirements - the scones were fresh out of the oven and divine. Very dog friendly too. Stunning views.
